Dog Paddle Directions:

From I-75 / 64:

Take Exit #113 (Lexington/Paris; US-27/US-68). Turn right towards Lexington on N. Broadway / Paris Pike (same road, 2 different names…).

Continue on N. Broadway, approximately 3 miles. You’ll go through downtown, past Triangle Park & Rupp Arena. (The road’s name will change to S. Broadway or just Broadway after you cross Main St.)

Turn left onto East Maxwell (E. Maxwell is a one-way street). Continue on E. Maxwell approximately 1 mile.

E. Maxwell will merge with High St. at the yellow caution light. If you look to your left you will see Woodland Park. You’ll see the tennis courts.

Unfortunately, Woodland park does not have a parking lot. I’d suggest parking somewhere on E. Maxwell / High St. You can circle around the park and park on one of the surrounding streets also.

Woodland Pool is towards the back of the park. You’ll walk by the tennis courts & skate park. All the sidewalks kind of lead back to the pool. Of course, you can just follow all the other dogs or listen for the barking :)

From Richmond (I-75 North):

Take Exit #104 (Athens Boonesboro Rd / KY-418). Take Athens Boonesboro / Richmond Rd, approximately 5 miles, into Lexington.

Turn left onto S. Ashland (I believe there is a Donato’s on the corner). Continue for 2 blocks.

Turn right onto E. High St.

Continue on High St. After approximately 2 blocks, you will see Woodland Park on your right. You’ll see the tennis courts.
